Synopsis

Rene is a dedicated warrior-monk in the Knights Templar. Disillusioned by the corruption in the order he is nearly killed in a battle at the Horns of Hattin. Alone and lost in the desert he is rescued by a mysterious Muslim. They band together to survive the relentless desert. After finding peace in the oasis of a Muslim widow, Rene questions his Crusader ethos. The peace of the oasis is shattered and Rene enters the desert again for the final answer to his troubled soul.
